Couples Counseling
Most couples do not need to be taught to care. They need to be able to hear each other.
Couples work here is about communication and the patterns underneath it, the pursuit and withdrawal, the old injuries that get re-triggered, the assumptions each of you is making about what the other one meant.
I draw on emotionally focused and attachment-based approaches alongside practical communication work. Neither of you is assigned the role of the problem.
Couples sessions are $250. Sessions are available in person in Eugene or by telehealth, with both partners located in Oregon.
